P.D.Q. Brahms

Tonight's CMFS concert ("P.D.Q. Brahms") was fantastic fun, and Peter Schickele's Quartet for Clarinet, Violin, Cello, and Piano that closed the program was insanely awesome.  Here's a short clip of what you missed.  :)

I'd like to give a huge thanks to Jonathan Holden, Caroline Holden, Judith VanderWeg, Joan Conway, and Helen Lukan for sharing your artistry with our CMFS family.  Come next week to hear the wonderful Aebersold & Neiweem Piano Duo!

Edit: See the very poised young woman on the far left of the video clip?  That's Katie Seifert, our second-year Intern for CMFS, doing a Herculean job tonight of page-turning.  Seriously...page-turning is stressful enough as it is, but with the Schickele and its complicated roadmap of repeats and da capos and such, it would be a true nightmare for mere mortals.  Katie is no mere mortal. :)
