What a year it's been!

Friends: It's been a year of enormous change in my life, and amidst all this change I have inadvertently neglected this blog. Please accept my apologies!

I have no wise or profound words for today. I just wanted to announce (kinda old news now) that I am now a full-time software developer for Progressive Insurance and am no longer a full-time performing pianist and professor. I will still perform as time allows, of course - in fact, I just performed Ravel's Concerto in G major with the Holland Symphony Orchestra a couple of weeks ago - and I will still teach a handful of private students. This is all good news! The stress of my former vocation deeply impacted my health but I am now finally on the mend.

And, of course, I am still taking wedding and portraiture clients. Connecting with people and capturing their photos is the exact opposite of stressfulness and brings me great joy.

Here is a random smattering of photos from this autumn season for you to enjoy. They include a couple of "selfies" and a few shots of my favorite two trees in all of Ohio. Please feel free to prod me for an update if another year goes by without any more blog posts!

Grace and Peace to you all.
